ORGANIC PRODUCTS
Certified organic ingredients form the base for ALL our products. These certified organic ingredients have higher nutritional content (The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine 2001;7(2):161. Virginia Worthington, PhD Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore) and using them helps us to eliminate agricultural sprays and storage chemicals from our products.
We have chosen BIOGRO certification for the following reasons:
- BIOGRO is an internationally (IFOAM) recognised organic certification authority.
- We want to offer you safe and tasty alternatives by using certified organic ingredients (guaranteed GE free).
- We want to raise the standard of all our products from "organic", which is still not a strict standard, to "certified organic", which is a very reliable and a clear quality standard.
- We want all our products to be tasty, healthy, nutritious and as unrefined as possible.
- We believe in the process of ongoing improvement of product quality - the BIOGRO label gives us that guaranteed high standard.
At present we have four products that are fully BIO-GRO certified - the Rice & Spice Cookie, Super-Seeded Cracker, Bach Bread Cracker and the Ginger Cookie. When more certified organic ingredients become available we will be adding more products to the list.
